On a morning hike yesterday I had yearling whitetail bust out of the brush and cross the trail ten feet behind me. Made my day. Last night I was walking out to the mail box around dusk and heard a turkey gobbler trying to call in hens. He was about 20 yards into the woods. I just froze up and listened to that he turkey till he quit. Made my night.
