Personally, I don’t feel it is unethical for students to use it for assignments or tests, especially if the assignments or tests are generated using AI. In my opinion it begins with the educators. I have one child in college, one in high school, and a wife taking classes towards another masters degree. All three are told not to use AI to answer questions, yet all three are provided assignments that are admittedly generated by AI.

P.s. They shouldn’t use it to grade assignments either.
