Yum.

So, I had quit pipe smoking a while back and didn't pick it back up until 2023. A few times since then I had been trying to remember what the catalyst was that had me put it down. I still smoked a bowl every Christmas morning since 2007 when I first started but for the life of me I could not remember why I stopped regular smoking.
Tonight, as I lit this bowl of Stockton, it occurred to me. In 2011, Ro and I were living in Virginia and finally had the money to have a proper wedding. So we did, in New Mexico, and it was grand! During that time we asked a friend to house sit for us as she needed a temporary place to stay and we weren't using it for a few weeks anyway. When we came home, one of my pipes was missing. I believe, instead of just getting another pipe, my laziness got the better of me and I just quit altogether. With the exception of Christmas mornings. That's all. Cheers!
