Had a bowl of KBV Banana Bread that hitch-hiked in with the Aromatic pass. Smoked it in the Stanwell Gilt Edge. Pretty mellow stuff, not as much banana as I expected, in fact, nearly none that I could discern. Not bad, but I wouldn't buy it. Not that someone else might not think it's great, but it doesn't do that much for me.

From @Hawks, TYVM Chris. FYR Connecticut Valley Reserve, barnyard aroma pre-light, good flavors in the smoke. I am enjoying this.

Stocking up. What does everyone think about the McConnell blends? I'm on the hunt to find something that comes close to scratching the Mac Baren HH itch. I know nothing will but a VA/DFK flake with some quality would make it easier, so I don't burn through my MB reserves. Pun intended.
