I found that smoking with a filter is fine, for one bowl. After that it increasingly adds nasty taste with each bowl. I toss them all. If the next question is "What about pipes that have filters, can I leave them out?", the answer is YES, you can leave them out. Won't hurt a thing.

Next up is Boswell's Pennsylvania Dutch Treat, nice light taste of cherry coke. I'd smoke this again.
