I just copy and pasted this from Lindsay's post but figured some of you would like too know shes still alive and able to tell me what to do.
"I am currently awaiting discharge paperwork from the SCU. They wanted to keep me another day but I said no. As many of you know, I underwent a total hysterectomy June 2. At the time of this procedure everything had been going fine (for the most part). Today was officially 8 weeks post-op. Saturday morning was truly the scariest day of my life and what I thought was initially pain that could be rested through, ended up being a total dehiscence of my vaginal cuff, a potentially deadly complication that resulted in an emergency surgery. The pain felt was unlike anything I’ve EVER felt before and caused rigors, vomiting, and profuse sweating and a ride to the ER via ambulance. Pain medications such as fentanyl, ketorolac, and hydromorphone didn’t touch it. I remember telling paramedics and doctors that I felt like I was dying, and I meant it. You will likely notice my absence at the shop at a significant level as I take time to heal from this event. The risk of it recurring is significant as it’s a rare complication in the first place. Please be patient with me as I attempt to navigate this process. Also, thank you all for the Birthday Wishes. ❤️"
