That's just desert growth Rusty, apparently they have tagged it for a little trimming, I just missed the javalinas.

Re: Post Every Boring Aspect Of Your Mundane Life Thread
Air cylinder wouldn't actuate on the machine that puts the removable patch on top of our can. Two cylinders, two valves, and 2 cables connected to the same PLC output and the same common terminal. Turned out the cable connection at the valve was improperly wired. Wire wasn't stripped enough, clamp screw was hitting insulation. (Brown wire) Lasted almost 2 years.

Serious question??? Or not?Politics has its place but has be devisive since it’s inception.
Does political thread(s) serve to enhance this forum…OR… detract from this forum.
Personally, I find it an enhancement. Yes, it can be and often is divisive, but that is a reflection of our society. If people can't handle it, they should remove themselves from the conversation, NOT remove the conversation from the forum.
We have, here, an extremely eclectic group of people. People of all ages and occupations, and a wide variety of beliefs, and both genders. Or more, if that's what trips your triggers. All of us bound together by a hobby that is under fire by some well funded extremists who get their jollies by forcing their views on others. Especially if that force doesn't actually affect anything in their own lives.
All of that above means that we are a rare example of the kind of intellectual cross-pollination of ideas that was inherent to our "Great Experiment" of a democratic republic. We are the vestiges of what truly made America great. Yes, it's messy, and sometimes we get our little feelings hurt, but it's well worth it. At least, it is for me.
BTW, I have no earthly idea where my social security card, issued in '72 or '73 if I recall, might be at this time. My DD214 has served that purpose a few times, though, and my Driver's License and Voter Registration card have been required every time I vote. Even though the lady at the polls is my neighbor, and knows who I am on sight.
Carry on.

@CalvinAndHobo I mean I said that if you made IDs free and easy then go ahead and ask for ID. It's that simple. All the other stuff doesn't matter.By the way we already have a national ID. It's called a social security card. I'm not navigating in uncharted waters here.
I don't know why having an election day window instead of one single day in November makes such a big difference to some people.
Non-citizens can get a SS card and be eligible for benefits. Do you believe non-citizens (in any country), whether there legally or not, should be allowed to vote in that country's elections?

First link worked for me. You have to open the link to get rid of the Cigar.com redirect first.

Re: Political Discussions
Same here. I tried the vherf once when only Chris was on and had to quit after a minute or two.
Re: Political Discussions
Out of curiosity, if ID's were free to get, and I offered to remove Columbus day as a federal holiday, and replace it with election day, along with requiring at least 1 polling location per county to be open all 24 hours of the day, would that be considered fair in your eyes? @VegasFrank Is there a way in your world to give everyone a chance to vote, while also making them prove they're the person who's voting?
Re: Whatcha smokin tonight?
Got home from a long day with the family at the Ren Faire and a nice BBQ dinner and decided to light up this delicious Opus Forbidden X from @RobbyCruz, psych, it's a Cifuentes Partagas 1876 which is smoking itself and canoeing on one side. LOL
