On my walk through a Frasier Fir farm yesterday AM. I saw a couple of women. They were in front of me about 75 yards. I also heard something squalling in the woods bordering the farm.The women stopped at the base of a steep hill and started looking up at a 70 ft oak. The squalling got louder as I caught up with them. Seems like Buster their cat was 40ft up the tree and he was not happy. I introduced my self and made sure they knew I had permission to walk their land. Seems like Buster had been up the tree four days. The women called the fire depo but the ground is too steep for a truck. They had somebody coming that could climb. We figured a coyote had run Buster up the tree.
Today I Checked the tree and no sign of Buster.
On another note there is a big pig running loose over in the town of Blowing Rock. A lot of town folk are on the chase but the pig is still loose and starting to wreck stuff.
I like the rural life.

Well, I'm no expert, but if I know I'm going to be smoking a caked blend fairly regularly and soon, I rub it out. If I expect to put it away I leave it as cake. This seems to keep it fresher longer, IMHO.
On a related note, anything that comes in the old style tins, IOW not airtight, goes immediately into a Mason Jar. If the tin has the plastic lid, I leave it in that.

The main thing is to remember that you can't have your cake and smoke it too.

It will store fine either way. Leaving it as a cake for long term storage may help the flavors meld together better.

The mouse on an exercise wheel. I think earworms keep it busy so I don't think about the tragedy of human behavior too much. I do regret the constant exposure to pop music in my teenage years.

My disagree on the arm candy, I know why she won’t walk next to me on a beach. I mean besides me wearing work pants, boots and a long sleeve shirt.
