Hmm, I get quite good flakes from mine. You can set the gap between the guard and the cutting blade for the width that you want, that really helps.

I was actually reaching for the vines to pull them off the wall when I saw it. Mostly black bees with white on the head and abdomen. I'll have to look up what they are, but they don't look friendly.

I didn't know that there was a nest of them in my raspberry patch. Kept getting buzzed until I saw the nest attached to one of the canes. Gave it a 2' clearance and they let me keep picking. They were not aggressive once they knew that I knew and respected their territory. Just like nations.

Cut the grass and ran the weed wacker for the first time in three weeks, so it's been that long that I've been on that side of the house, and I almost walked into this while weed wacking.
