I've been talking on vherf about going thru the cooler to check for mold and to be honest I didn't go thru the cooler yet but found a moldy stick near the surface. It was one of @webmost home rolled in a bag of sticks 7 or 8 years old. Kind of been hanging onto that in honor of Davis, I know he'll understand tossing it.

Summary: Researchers have uncovered a critical connection between the gut microbiota, the immune system, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In a germ-free genetic mouse model, removal of gut microbes reduced autism-like behaviors and lowered brain inflammation, showing that microbes may play a dominant role in driving symptoms.
The study also found that gut microbes influence the balance of glutamate and GABA, two neurotransmitters that regulate brain activity.
