The fun social experiment part of this whole thing is that apparently people identify as a maga or not a maga as one of their most fundamental identifiers, and if they find offense with any little slight that they perceive with this identification they lose their minds about as much as they do with any identifying characteristic or trait.

Does MAGA automatically mean one explicitly identifies with Trump, the right leaning OR does it simply mean what the acronym implies (if one believes America is broken OR maybe needs improvement).

I think that if you would take a poll of most non red hat wearing people, they would say that it means that they are trumpers. If you take a poll of all of the red hats, I think that they would lie and say that it is mostly the third but split a little more evenly and in reality is probably 1/3 of each of those.

Here's opinion that I will get killed for, I think that maga is a dog whistle for make America white again and make America Christian again, both of which repulse me.

For anyone who really wants it to mean or thinks that it means make America great again, I strenuously object 😂. To me, America has always had problems and has always been the greatest country in the world. The amount of trigger responses that this generated was epic and hilarious though. We have guys schizo-posting screen captures of unrelated word definitions and even our buddy Bob made an appearance out of nowhere LOL, All of this was spread out over multiple parts of the forum over multiple threads over multiple days.

If I said that all white guys were pússies or everyone from Pennsylvania was inbred or people with glasses had inferior genes or anyone over 50 was a washed up jerk, none of y'all would have blinked twice.

But someone perceived that I said magas are uneducated and the fit hits the Shan with a bunch of people being triggered. It's fascinating to sit back and watch this play out, honestly.
