I prefer many relatively smaller totes over a cooler. If something did go wrong, bugs or mold, fewer cigars would be affected

Smoke one now. Get a feel for its flavor now compared to 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, year etc.... If you find they are smoking well, don't wait, smoke them..... It's just rolled leaves...
