The best heat I've had was from the peri peri in the Congo. Smuggled some seeds home on a break and my wife tended them like a puppy...until she got drunk one day and left them in the Arizona sun. The asian heat some have posted are the closest.

Best hot sauce I ever had was bought at a morning market on St. Croix in the early 70's. Homemade by one of the Crusan women. I showed up at daybreak after hand-lining for yellow tail all night. Traded fish for hot sauce. Good on stewed goat.
