Re: What are you reading?
I've been taking a break from histories and biographies, and have been reading Craig Johnson's Walt Longmire series. I started with the latest release, Return To Sender, which I bought in hardcover while we were on vacation. I've since read the first and second in the series, on Kindle, and will purchase the third, Kindness Goes Unpunished, tonight.

This hotel we're staying at it's on the University campus. Liz told me not to smoke because of this. I said it's a Catholic University. Not only do they smoke, but they drink and are way more rowdy than she is hahaha.

He managed to escape his troubled circumstances when he joined the U.S. Air Force at the age of 18. In the military, he found mentors who rewarded his willingness to perform with trust. Above all, his service in the Air Force taught him the discipline that enabled him to realize his full potential. «The military taught me that people don't need motivation; they need self-discipline,» he writes. «Motivation is just a feeling. Self-discipline is: ‹I'm going to do this regardless of how I feel.›»
