I am happy to hear you have found the way of the Flake, Jeff, that's pretty much how I roll. With flakes it's important to leave a bit of room in the bowl because the tobacco swells up when you light and smoke it and can choke the bowl if it is too tight a fit.

Oversharing is what I feel like I'm doing here. Popcorn thunderstorms. The kind that grow as separate little red rain dumping cells. Not much wind in between cells. 85 Deesgrees. Y'all remember Rick Dees? Disco Duck? He was a very popular DJ on FM pop radio out of Memphis before he went to California and he used to always give the temperature in Deesgrees.

Dry, but tasty Savinelli Brunello Flake in my Imperial Giant White Flame Oom Paul while gardening. I think this is my favorite pipe for smoking while I'm doing yardwork, it hangs out of the way with very little effort needed to clench the pipe and it smoke well and it holds a lot of tobacco.
I like the way the echoes of the spirit smokes are degrading in the background.
