Hypothetically, if I forced you to accept $100 cash, even if you told me that you didn't want it and that it made you uncomfortable, would I be being generous if I made you take it anyway, against your wishes?

This forum is built on those three things like you said. I think it's awesome that everyone does that and enjoys the whole process of it, it's fantastic. It's just not for me personally in terms of being on the receiving end of it, especially if the other person doesn't know me in real life. Me feeling the way that I feel about receiving one sided gifts from people that I don't know well, doesn't mean that anyone else should change their behavior towards each other on the forum. I'm the one with the character flaws, not you.
