Stupid people. Had a guy call yesterday to order a part for an 18 year old bike. This part is $100 and fits this model only. He said he would call back if he needed to order. He calls this morning and said order this and I will be in tomorrow to pay and maybe look at a tire. I said great and told him I would need a credit card over the phone to order it or just wait until tomorrow to order. He started to throw a fit complaining how no motorcycle dealer will order parts without getting paid first. He said he has been in the automotive industry for 18 years and never has to pay. Just sat there listening and let him vent. I asked him if he ever has to pay up front when he orders from amazon or walmart online? (Very nicely) He didnt like that and said he was going to take his business elsewhere. He did say thank you and I replied your welcome.

Ok I have a serious inquiry. What gave you any inclination that this was a place to try sell that? I’m guessing you used the google machine and this FORUM was one of the results. This is a forum, not a marketplace.

Personally, I’d take the possum pelt…best offer you’re gonna get, and a damn generous one at that.
