My first car was a stick and I couldn't even drive it home. Had one lesson from my very impatient dad and taught myself after that.

That’s true, but the way they see it they lose money by selling it as diesel. When it’s broken down to the point of gasoline there are byproducts that are use to make other things.

Kind of like the reason they don’t sell real milk in stores. It’s much more profitable to break it down into cream, butter, cheese, yogurt, etc, and then sell what’s left over as “milk”.
