Haven't had backup for 35 years but Rachel is concerned about dealing with the wood and stove if I kick the bucket before she does so getting a mini split heat pump this fall .

Lost everything in our fridge but the freezer held ok. Going to hit the road to search for a grocery store over in Banner Elk. Hope they are not sold out. We have been eating some strange stuff. Our garden is beat up but we still have chard, lettuce, tomatoes, and zucchini. My world for a bunch of bananas.
