Glad you liked it @Diver43. Those are really nice.

I don't usually smoke top shelf cigars in the car on the way home, but today I really wanted this sucker, so screw it. Fabulous FDC from @Patrickbrick. Thanks brother. Hit the spot. Thanks Patrick!

Still 90 degrees out even at nearly 10pm. Another heatwave out west. First one of these for me actually.
The construction on these are top notch. Beautiful wrapper and perfect burn. Even the bands are thoughtfully applied, they have just a touch or resistance but slide right off (Roma Craft should take note for their annoying wedding bands) but I was expecting a bit more flavor wise.
To be fair, I've only had them in the humidor for a week or so. The flavors aren't bad by any means, very pleasant actually (nuts, honey, sweet leather, and cedar notes) just a bit more nuanced than I prefer. It actually reminds me of a Davidoff type blend. There are zero unpleasant flavors, zero harshness and the smoke is a bit creamy and has a nice velvety texture. I really want to try the maduro version now.
It really is a well done cigar and I can see why folks love it. Best smoked slow and cool to coax out maximum flavor. Not an evening cigar for me personally but a premium smoke no doubt. Great aroma as well. Great morning or daytime cigar or even a closer for those who don't prefer fuller blends.
Should note that it did pick up a bit in the second half and step the flavors up a bit in intensity. I enjoyed the second half more than the first. Glad I finally got to try this blend and vitola. Looking forward to trying a smaller vitola in this blend and some in the maduro version.

^^^ those are great for when I'm cutting my grass or painting my living room.
I'll probably save the rest for when I'm juggling, jogging, swimming, trimming trees, rubbing one out (real me time), planting in the garden, or maybe even while sleeping. Great anytime cigar!

See… to tell the truth. I will only enjoy a cigar when the conditions are just perfect. 75 degrees, wind out of the west , moon in the 3rd quadrant…. If there are more then three crickets chirping I will only smoke a Lancero and if the dragonflies are about, it’s a toro for me. If the month ends in a Y it’s Maduro. I will only smoke a Connecticut while passing through Vermont. Now for my pipe tobacco….. well that’s a whole different ball game!

How’d you like it Robby? By “Tiny Tamborine”, apparently founded by ex-Davidoff guys
Did you opt for box pressed? and how’d you like it?

My favorite cigar list here
Rough week of daily trips to the vet. Our nearly 13 year old pit is undergoing exploratory surgery tomorrow.
Trying to relax. Good vibes appreciated.
^ awesome cigar not that your dog is having surgery.
Hope everything comes back fine
Thanks bud
Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.
I hope the surgery goes well Derek.
Hoping all goes well my brother @Derek ! Our furry ones always hold a special place in our hearts.
Things are about to get interesting...

Or when you're making BBQ sauce with cigar ash.
