Thanks guys. It's a great pipe, smokes like a dream. I really like Nording pipes, you get good, solid craftsmanship, a good looking pipe and they don't cost an arm and a leg...this one ran me about $70 and I couldn't be happier.
Got me a Savinelli,, cant complain,, havent had a bowl in a few months, May have to remedy that....soon

My first pipe was a Savinelli, a bent billiard with sandblast finish from the Tortuga line. Savinelli also makes a dependable pipe, I've had no complaints about mine at all. I tend to like unique shapes and in that regard Savinelli doesn't often catch my eye, but you can't argue with the quality of the pipe and it's reasonable price tag.
I love the Barrel Room Sam in the background. I have one that I bought on my last trip to Boston last summer that I've been saving.
what do you think of The Griffins you're burning? I haven't tried them yet.
Good smoke, but not so much for the price tag (at least for what I bought it for). I will say it has a VERY smooth finish to it. Quite pleasant.
The Barrel Room Sam was good as well, just not a WOW. I don't know...to me it felt like a knockoff Belgian. I've had domestic craft brews from much smaller operations offering the same style that I thought were much better. For instance Berkshire Brewing, another Massachusetts operation. I feel like Sam Adams is still trying to be a craft brew, but at a mass market brew production, which just doesn't do the brand justice.
Celebrated father's day with a Room 101 LTD Namakubi followed by a CAO La Traviata and finished with a JF Origen Original great night overall except that my little guy was sick with the flu.
Just finished a Gurkha Grand Reserve. Not impressed. If I want a mild smoke that will only last about an hour, I'll be sticking with my Ccom Purple Labels. It wasn't bad. Just not worth the money I paid for it.

But I'll still drink it.
Yea so my ADD kicked in and I changed my mind, going with a Cubao robusto instead.
