Five years ago, Don Carey at Whole Leaf Tobacco sold me some Habano 2000 wrapper which hooked me on rolling perfectos... ultra flexible, stretchy enough to go round those shapely transitions, and apt to shrink down to the tapers as it dries. I've wasted a ton of money since then on leaf which is only suited to parejos. Now I've finally found a wrapper which I think will produce a quality Uppowoc Perfecto: This is the new Rosado wrapper from WLT, wrapped just last night as a test quickie around four leaves of his new T-13 viso bound in Dominican Olor. Look how nicely it's shrinking down to shape. And the color, once it cures, you can see is going to be superior. I don't think I can wait for that, tho. This baby is going up in smoke this morning.

Beautiful morning, first morning this year not needing a jacket while walking the dogs in the woods. Saw woodpecker the size of chicken, only see these in the spring. I guess they only come out of the deep woods around breeding time.
Laundry and trash run done. No mowing quite yet; selected some noob humidor sticks for yard/garden work today, starting with an Alec Bradley Family blend The Lineage robusto.
