Holy cow, I haven't looked at this thread in forever and I come back to a strange French film I actually know.

But I'm not getting involved in the game.  My wife would give me a haircut-but below the ears, if you get me-if I started buying and mailing to keep up.
Intelligence is knowing that a tomato is a fruit; wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.

I like Oliva and Quesada (including Regius) a lot.  I will smoke anything, though.

Too bad, you may be the only other one on the forum to have watched this film.

    8. The third and last word in the title means a married man in relation to his spouse.

    A Greyfriar's Husband?
Might be close enough, what do you think @Martel?

Nope, I think Doug is close enough, otherwise this is going to drag way out.

The only reason I know it is cause way back when in college I lived in a dorm that showed foreign films every week in a theater in the basement. Can't say I remember it all that well.  French films don't stick with me.  Blue, White and Red are shadows in my memory.  A few others, too. This one, though, I couldn't say much of anything about it.

Excellent, congratulations @Puff_Dougie, you're the winner, the answer was The Hairdresser's Husband, an entertaining film.  I'll get a prize package out to you and it's your turn to post up a movie trivia question.

Next time I'll have to avoid using obscure foreign films in this contest.

Hmm.  First time back here in a while, miss a little miss a lot.  Yakster, way to pic a film that 99.9% of us here never heard of...:D   but at least it's title sounds like a low rent porn flick.

Not quite figuring out puff's flick yet.  I know the actress, but cannot think of a rom com with her in it.

    soooo, it must be Platoon

    I love trivia.

    I hate sending packages.

I won't fall for it. Not once.  Not 12 times.
