Found this Governator deep down in my humi. These were made by Casilla’s Cigars, a family-run hand-rolling operation and B&M in Citrus Heights, CA. Governor Schwarzengoofer was in office at the time and these sticks were named after him... The Governator.
Later, the shop ran out of some of the tobacco necessary to roll these so they were discontinued. At least that’s the story I was told.
As you can see from the stickers I put on the cello, I’ve had this one since 2012 when Mike Tuccelli, a long-ago forum brother, gave it to me. They were great back then when I was smoking them but they’re only so-so now. All those years didn’t seem to help.....
Enjoying this one from @avengethis while getting things ready for the closing and move this week. I will have to read up on this stick when I get a chance. Very unique tasting blend...I’m guessing these use some not so common leaf. TYVM, Brad!
