Well, the weather gods smiled on me today and sent the d@mned wind somewhere else for a change, thus allowing this Oldfart to enjoy a DPG Blue toro....

Burn was a little lopsided by the half way point. Absolutely zero hints of whiskey at all, just a cedery Connecticut flavor. All in all, not terrible, just lacking the advertised infusion. Anybody who has been curious about these, don't expect any you get to smell or taste like whiskey. I suspect all of them are now too old to still have any whiskey notes left.
New to me. The girl at the shop talked me into them. I'll probably buy some again at some point. Very nice burn and good peppery flavor.

@VegasFrank Today’s selection was another of those you sent me a while back - a Psyko maduro. This one got my cherry regarding Ventura Cigars and it was pretty tasty.
