I'm smoking this Edward @silvermouse style. What's the rest of my AJ la amistad gold from yesterday, sitting outside waiting on my kids and saw it sitting there in my ashtray. I have 10 minutes to kill. Thanks again @TBonzVegasfrank didn't nub a cigar in the first go around?

It was nubbable, but I arrived he before I finished, so I let it rest in the ashtray on my front porch.

New to me...LFD La Volcada Churchill, a nice slight sweetness to it ( Must be the Mexican San Andres wrapper talking ) Not as strong as some LFDs out there, but still good an tasty.....

This one is extra peppery on the retro. Calmed down after the first quarter and transitions to smooth chocolate. These are getting better and better as they age and I think they will end up being great.
Me thinks they were rushed off the Joya De Nicaragua rolling floors when Villiger decided to exit the hand rolled market. I scored a bunch of these on the cheap over last summer and took a chance since they were made by JDN and they were part of the blending.
They were harsh, acrid, bitter, and burned terrible but I could taste the potential and doubled down when I found them even cheaper on blowout. My guess is that the last batch was simply rolled, boxed, and shipped. The older reviews were good with a lot of newer ones being unfavorable. I suspect those folks got the fresh off unaged stock as well. These will end up being diamonds in the rough and chocolaty delights. They have already improved dramatically and I expect that will continue in the coming months/years.

Super shot from a Roman sampler. I'm glad you failed to smoke it for the last eight or nine years @Trident!

2nd Juarez today, also tunneled/canoed but not as badly, I think it is because of a not so tight bunch coupled with a slower-burning Mexican wrapper. Tasty though, a simple coffee/chocolate.
