Punching is the way to go on these boxed pressed beauties. Really concentrates the flavor and makes for fuller tasting smoke. Even the retro has more pepper sting vs clipping. I've tried several each way and always enjoy the punched ones more.
After the pepper wears down in the first inch or so there is a super familiar leather flavor on the retro that really reminds me of the AVO Synychro Nicaragua. It's very enjoyable. I suspect these will taste very similar with some additional aging.

Not really on my list of favorites, but I needed a quick smoke.

Came pre-aged. I know this because of the plume spots on it! 😑😬

Good idea, @cbuck
These are in the very edge of too tight, but ok.

Must be Camacho day today. This one's a triple Maduro Robusto.
Good, but not great. I think the CAO MX2 has better flavor. But then, opinions are like buttholes - everybody’s got one... 😜😜
From @WaterNerd . Thanks, Allan.

Glad you’re enjoying it Edward! @silvermouse
Very much enjoyed it! Seemed stronger than the No. 4, maybe the shorter vitola.
