If I don't have some Classical playing then I generally listen to Cheryl (one of the 17 'other' people in my head) because she doesn't like to be ignored.
I listen to sermons from a few pastors I follow on XM Radio. Helps me to keep in a positive mindset especially with all the hate that is going on in the world
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt

Early 1920's -- 1950's jazz, blues, I lean towards Black music.
Last November, when Faye was going through her ordeal, (5 surgeries in 2 weeks, and pneumonia and sepsis just to make it interesting), I met a guy staying at the hotel where I lived for about 7 weeks. His name is Corky Kessler, we smoked a few cigars together. He gave me a Cuban Montecristo before we parted ways. He was in Nashville trying to put together a movie about the life of Miles Davis. I'm hoping that he accomplishes this, because Miles was the king of jazz blues in my book.

Found a new unopened five disc set featuring classic Bird that spanned most of the work of his too short life. Found it at a used book and music store. Bessie Smith, Lady Day, Sachmo, Leadbelly, Dizzy, Charlie Patton, Son House , Robert Johnson, Lester Young, The Duke, are just some that I play every day in my studio.
One never knows with me. I have eclectic tastes in music. I like anything that is done well, from J.S. Bach to Jamey Johnson, Smokey Robinson to Rare Earth, George Strait, the list goes on.

My attempts to introduce more banjo savants into Peter's life have largely been ignored.
Is your name Cheryl?

Either the sounds of nature, classical music, instrumental jazz, or a good movie.

But atleast it's 100% efficient and good for the environment makes the bill hurt less
Most nights, it's four or five brothers kvetching about life, with the TV in the background... you bunch of kvetchers, you...

I hope you're not the groundskeeper.
I am the groundskeeper, among other things, but this picture is from a property across the street. It isn't part of my responsibility.

Tonight, the rumble of a diesel engine down the street and the embers of my cigar burning as I take a draw.
