My neighbor and I generally hit the beach with a cigar, a drink, and some 90s hip hop.

From April to October, Phillies baseball on SiriusXM. So far this year, the cigars are a requirement to retain some level of relaxation.

If you have ever been close enough to high power electric lines to hear the “buzz”, that is what tinnitus is for me. Constant buzzing.
I usually watch hockey or a custom car show with the volume muted.

Friends don't let good friends smoke cheap cigars.

Yesterday I sat outside and listened to the birds chirp, bumblebees buzz, and my youngest son occasionally tell me what bugs he found.

    How old?
On Friday I was riding bikes in the driveway with my grandsons, ages 6 and 4. I finished and sat down in the grass. The little one was done riding too, and he came over and sat along side of me, and says "So, shouldn't we talk about something?" Cracked me up.

Sorry, Todd, I just saw this. My youngest is 6 years old and bright as the rising sun.

The other day when I was sitting on the back steps, smoking a super deluxe, he sat down next to me and opened a bird book. He proceeded to slowly flip through the book, reading the names as best he could and telling me how many eggs each type typically laid. He would hand me the book whenever he saw a bird at our feeders, run after it, ask me how close he got, and trot back with a huge grin. Then he'd pick up where he left off in the book. He did this the entire time I smoked that super deluxe, about an hour, and it was delightful.
