Picked up a round oak tobacco drying plate, and was gifted this cool pipe from Jason of J. Everett Pipes. This is my fourth pipe by Jason. Great BOTL and carves a fantastic pipe!

@silvermouse
Any clue Edward? I'm now thinking circa 1938 after researching Birmingham hallmarks. The silverwork likely applied to a French stummel. I am a bit puzzled by the unworn state of the pipe. I guess it could have been unsmoked and expertly restored.

Not sure to be honest. I need to take better photos. The reason I'm thinking 1938 is the border outline of the hallmark. The borders are just as important as the the letter...
ETA: I think the borders are just as important. What do I know....nutt'n!!!!
@Rdp77
No tail or line running into the "O". Here is a better pic of the hallmarks.
It is either a 1913 or 1938 hallmark, all depends on whether the "O" is upper or lower case, and I can't tell the difference. Either way, I bought the pipe cause I like shiny things, so it does not bother me at all. The seller is unloading some stellar stuff right now and is a well respected member of the PSD community.
Nice looking pipe, Yak, but I'm not seeing the pot? Is that what that silver-tipped stick thingy is? Some kind of vape machine? You Californians, always coming up with something new...just don't smoke the pot in the Norm Triptow, it'll ruin the taste forever.
Or, so I've heard.

Smoking my 1st bowl with it now. Bob's chocolate flake in my Peterson System pipe. Lighter is working as advertised.
I wanted something to go in my pipe travel case that wouldn't be as likely as my Old Boy IMC to accidentally release the fuel while jostling around.

the last one, the letter O looks to be 1909

It's definitely purdy.
Trapped in the People's Communist Republic of Massachusetts.
@Stubble does the O have a line running into it?
Nice pick-ups Steve. That silver work is nice.
The HH is what has me intrigued
The stem looks new...but the bit looks olde-skool fat. Could be a very good restoration.

Another Norm Triptow pipe, a small pot.

Good lighter. The corrugated thumb strike part fell off after a while so got glued back on with Goop several years ago and is still going strong.
