I haven't for awhile now, I used to play with it more. When McClelland went under I lost my daily favorite, Dark English, and tried for some time to reproduce it. Still have some of those mixes, too, I've still got a tiny bit of McClelland Pure Latakia.
I'll try some of this or that just straight from time to time, remind the tastebuds of what each is, and then sometimes add a little of one or another to a bought blend that is close, but not exactly what I think it should be. Pinch of this or that on a cutting board, then into a small jelly-jar for a day or two, see what happens.
It's very inaccurate, spontaneous, subjective in the extreme, and fun.

Update: Cleaned the lid and rim of the jar with isopropyl and resealed. It's been overnight and not lost vacuum. Gave the label a facelift, too. 👍
Then the tism kicked in and I vacuum sealed all of my open jars. 🤷🏽♂️
If you don't mind estate pipes I have a a meer poker shaped pipe I would be happy to send you; It is plain, smooth without carving. Let me know if you would like it.

It does! Sealed in 15 seconds. Though, the lid is old and lost vacuum in a half hour.

I think repeatedly vacuum sealing them will remove some of the moisture in the tobacco.

I broke the shank off one of mine and used super glue to repair it.
