Apparently you can't have anyone mule you tobacco without getting bombed. Ordered some bulk tobacco and a couple fivers but that's not all that was in the box. Apparently, between Rusty's house and the post office, some tins and a very nice Baraccini made their way into the box. Funny thing is, one of the fivers that was supposed to go to Rusty stayed in the box with its brother. I'm going to have to look into this matter further and think of a way to thank the person who put the extras in the box.

New Stanwell HCA-2 in smooth finish.

A new etsy pipe made in China by JIEZAOWOODstudio. $78. About to fire it up now. Large bowl, thick walls. Came with filters, screens, pipe cleaners and a knockoff Czech tool. Looks good, anyway.


EDIT: After smoking about a third of a bowl I get the feeling this is really fresh briar. Kind of a funny taste to it, although that could be due the the stain in the bowl. I think I'm going to let this pipe sit for a year before smoking it again.

Stain will do that, you could use sandpaper or a reamer to remove it.

Looks like you've got the pipelust, Shawn. I've got mine under control, for now.

Sounds to me like you need to get another one then. Different finish or shape maybe. You’d be losing money if you didn’t.

That’s a Racine & Laramie. It’s a shop in San Diego. It was made in 1986. I’m not sure if it has a model name or anything. There isn’t one marked on it.
