I look at Dunhill pipes a lot. The only one I have is a pickaxe estate pipe that Rusty alerted me to. Made in 1971. Smokes well, saved $400 compared to the new pipe of the same description. Still cost more than most of my pipes. But, I like it.

Damn, now I want to go and look at Dunhill pipes again.

Truth be told I was never going to spend “the money” to acquire a “Dunhill”. However, this was way below industry standard prices and too good of a deal for a lightly smoked pipe. Oxidation yes. I will eventually get around to sanding it out. Stole it!!
Got a corncob the other day and fired it up for the first time while walking the dog. Managed to keep it lit for 20 minutes or so. My Kaywoodie Estate showed up today also.

2 oz. each of Peter Stokkebye's pistachio, and Celtic Spirit. 2 oz. of Lane Limited Black Gold.
Also got in this Pear wood pipe from Ukraine made by ArtWoodMaster. This thing is a handful. The bowl looks a little narrow in diameter but the thing is around 1.5" deep. Holds a lot of tobacco. Good draw, feels good in the hand. Might look gimmicky but it's seems to be a good smoker. Only time will tell.

Went to meet a buddy and have a couple cigars.
They were having a Petey Blinders: Peterson pipe event.
Must have been several dozen guys smoking pipes dressed in hunting tweed with cap and vest. Everyone had some type of leather sachel.
Picked up a smattering of tobaccos and another couple ounces of Folklore which I really like.
Just tried my new cheap soft flame pipe lighter with tools and stand from amazon. Doesn’t fry the top of my corncob like the jet flame lighters but definitely not wind proof.
Well, well, well!!! Came home to a large box sitting at my front door. I didn’t order anything??? Opened it up and holy 💩‼️ Lottery winner!! Let’s just say I got taken to the shed and got the crap beat out of me with this load. Edward!! @silvermouse spoiled the héll out of me. This act of generosity knocked me down and I’m still dizzy. Thank you very, very much. Crazy!! Had to take three pics just to fit. Mylar bags are like a pound plus.

Ohh ya. There seem to be lots of pretty pipes. The estate pipes kind of remind me of used guitars. Makes you wonder about the person who handed them down to you and your never going to know. Hoping my wife will prefer the smell. I hear about every cigar when she is around and the smoke blows in her direction. I cant be smoking too many cigars so maybe she is just around too much?

Picked up this little gem.
Now I can join in with the silk ascot, tweed jacket and leather cabaret crowd. I’m officially of status now. Geezus 🥴🥴🥴

Got around to storing my recent bulk purchases in Mylar and heat sealing them. 5# 4G Evening Flake, 1# Sutliff Walnut, 1# MB Plumcake.

We need a button that says, "Well, I don't know what to say about that."
That cuts deep Pedro....
Soft flame only…. @CheapSmoke 😉

Got this in yesterday. I thought it looked cool.

Very cool 😎

Almost as cool as that retirement fund Shawn is draining on his new hobby.
That's not the half of it. I still have 5 pipes on order. 4 briars under $40 each (for work) and a carved pipe.
