Trying out Ken Byron's Mr. Christian Tavern Bar in my Ser Jacopo from an anonymous benefactor. TYVM, I've been reaching for this pipe often lately. Is Mr. Christian any relation to Yoshimi? I'm getting a lot of tangy vinegar in this plug.

Yesterday's smoke of the KBV Mr. Christian Tavern Bar was too much vinegar, I hope that it mellows and flashes off a bit for next time.

I rescued a small wood cheese board (not pictured) from the donation pile that my Wife spent the morning building which put me in mind to smoke some plug. I decided to go with the unopened bag of 2021 KBV Jupiter Slices Red VA Plug, sliced and rubbed out in my BST Billiard.

That Jupiter Slices Red VA Plug left the roof of my mouth tingling yesterday. I think I'll try cutting it 50/50 with some Salty Dogs or Peterson Perfect Plug next time.

Mixed Wilke Peanut Butter and Chocolate with some Salty Dog plug in a cob while watching Enterprise in the back yard. It's a good combination.

That one goes through some extra fermentation I believe. Maybe that’s where the vinegar comes from???

Vinegar is used as an anti fungal in pipe tobacco.
I think it's also used to make a blend a matured VA taste like McClelland.
