About four months ago I mixed up some yellow Virginia blending tobacco, some Smyrna oriental blending tobacco, and cut up cigar coins. Today I open the one I made from a New World Cameroon cigar, one of my favorite budget morning smokes, to smoke in my Ser Jacopo Dublin, my first go at this but I believe I like it. There's a tingle in the retrohale and a bit of a tingle on the tongue, and it's got a nice light flavor.

Incidentally, I bought those stupid Keurig filters in hopes that they'd fit my coffee maker, as they're the exact shape as the ones I needed. And, just barely enough too large to be of any use. I don't use Keurig, as I can't stomach the idea of making an individual plastic cup and then discarding it for each and every cup of coffee I drink. What a waste. Lots of dead fishies and things thanks to those.

I agreed with this, but when I finished my morning meetings and started playing this album on my phone while I busted out my ladder to lower the outdoor blinds for shade (going to be a scorcher today here) I had to switch it up to the American Beauty album instead. I tend the favor the more acoustic side of the Dead.
As for the single cup coffee brewers, I bought a Cuisinart SS-5P1 single cup brewer and the HomeBarista filter for my Mom who's tired of brewing whole pots of coffee now that my dad has passed on. I've been trying it out to see if it will work out, I've already bough the paper filters for it since I was getting a lot of silt in the mesh filter, we'll see. I think it's going to be good enough for my Mom if she's willing to deal with using a filter per cup.
Dang, now I want coffee and I wouldn't mind loading up a pipe and listening to more Grateful Dead, but I've got work to do.

2 great albums.
My coffee maker is a cuisinart, I use the mesh filter for the grounds, but there's a water filter that is just the tiniest bit smaller than the Keurig filters. But, I've got a water filter on the faucet, so, eh.

What's your favorite hot weather pipe tobacco. This Anne Cap is light enough that it's working for me.
That's a tough question I'd not thought about. I think the hot weather pushes me to smoke either in the morning or late in the evening, and changes my prefered drink from coffee to tea or neat whisky to gin. Not so much the tobacco, I'll burn what I'm in the mood for. As such...I adore Lakeland blends, as I daydream of escaping "Hell's Backyard" to this...

Smoking Ken Byron Ventures Anne Cap in the hot garage in my Ser Jacopo Dublin. I figured the lime and ginger notes in this tobacco would be cooling.
@Yakster , A ginger ale or gin & tonic pairs well with that tobacco.
I may have some diet ginger ale mix for the Sodastream, I'll have to remember that.
