Excellent smoke had the distinct McClelland smell in the bag but is very different from their other Virginia’s. I wish I would have started my pipe journey years ago as I feel I have missed out on some great blends.

Glad you enjoyed it. Lot of great new blends coming out, actually I buy more than I can smoke.
I enjoyed Ken Byron Ventures Notorious, first in my little MM Eaton cob and then in my larger Hilson estate pipe while loading the compost bin and hauling the wood to the back yard for Fire Pit Friday. I enjoy the Hilson pipe more, the flavors are deeper, richer, and sweeter. Not sure if it's just the size of the bowl or what. @Stubble send me the sample of Notorious, TYVM Steve!

Notorious marries choice Latakia with double toasted Burley for a shockingly smooth smoke. It is Notoriously good versus Notoriously strong."

Broke in a couple cheap azz cobs with Ole Shenandoah Bootlegged. First try with cobs...seriously light and a great draw. Not gonna worry too much if i drop these overboard or into a trout stream.
I'm still troubled by what I did for that Klondike bar...

Smoking some KBV King's Ransom from @Stubble in my new Falcon metal pipe in the billiard bowl (still breaking in) on a pipe rest from @Stubble. Thanks Steve!
It's reached 83 F this morning, I'm afraid I'm going to have to retreat inside until it cools off. Only supposed to hit 97 F today.

I like my Falcon. Some people put a curl of pipe cleaner in the metal bowl to make cleaning a bit easier. And don't forget to clean the bottom of the briar bowl, buildup there will eventually affect the draw
I've still got the dry rings that came with the pipe but have already read up on how to make my own from pipe cleaners wrapped around a pencil and then clipped and checked out about maintenance and issues that affect the draw.
How many bowls do you have for your pipe, @silvermouse? I got a kit that came with two, but I've been looking at Meerschaum bowls on eBay for the Falcon.
