I soaked it in bourbon for a day, now the resting period. I will sample the shavings I took from the ends once dried. I'm thinking it's going to be really good, but that's just based on the smell, lol.

Ken Byron Ventures Mountains of Madness in my new-to-me Meerschaum pipe I picked up for myself for Father's day. I'm really enjoying this, my first full Meer, even though I went back and forth on pulling the trigger for days on this. It's really light weight and does smoke cool.

Sounds like you're skinny on tobacco....
Disagree. Strongly. Wondering who I will leave the excess to when I die.
I just posted on the wrong thread, I thought I was posting on "What did you get today?"
Further news, called P&C this morning to find out if my package was ever going to leave Memphis, after tracking it. UPS says that once they've delivered your package to the wrong post office, it's not their problem anymore.
Interestingly, at the same time that I called, the package was reintroduced into the transit system and reportedly is moving again. Perhaps in a couple days it will finally arrive. I will post pictures. It was the last one of its kind in stock, so I hope it actually comes.

Balkan Supreme as my second smoke in this estate meer while I charge and start my fleet of cars. Only filled three quarters in this deep bowl. I’m already seeing a bit of coloration on top.
I enjoyed that bowl so much that I loaded another half bowl of the Balkan Supreme in the meer.

KBV Verge Engine Overdrive from Stubble in an Ehrlich pipe I bought in 1968. Nothing but va/pers in it except for an exceedingly short foray into a pouch of Peach (my girlfriend liked the smell). Then again, she used to drench herself in patchouli until one memorable day the bus driver kicked her off the bus.

Does it live up to the hype?
My favorite cigar list here
It's really good. Not as sweet and mild as LBF. Bit more zing on the retro. I've paid more for cigars ounce per ounce. So....yes IMHO it's worth it.
Only had one bowl...
This.
Very cool...whatcha call it?
@BKDog
I'm calling it "Bad Monkey".
I also have a log of Va\Per with Maryland and PA I'm gonna call it "Tri-State".
And I'm currently smoking some Cloud Hopper in the Meerschaum.
Lol, love it!! Awesome project!

Nice Meer, Pete!
I got the meat slicer and now the final result: My very own "Tri-State" blend is complete and it tastes AWESOME.

Oh! I've been looking at something similar lately. Can't pull the trigger just yet. Nice call!

A little patchouli goes a long way, unless you wear so much you get kicked off the bus.
I'm smoking KBV Mountains of Madness in my estate Meer, paired with cheap Laphroaig Select Scotch to finish the day.
