Still waiting on that call and still smoking that quarter flake. We're eating on a call to pay a handyman for cutting down yuccas or palms at the rental. He was going to finish today but he's probably spent that $40 here asked for for food and who knows when he'll finish. He's already done most of the work so he'll finish when he wants his money.

Samuel Gawith - Best Brown Flake, using a new technique to cut (with snips), roll, and stuff into the no-name Italian bent Dublin after drying. This blend has a great flavor.

Getting ready to roast the Ethiopia Dry Process Benti Nenka coffee, which has a distinct banana smell from the green coffee, and puffing on my Hilson bent Dublin with some old mixed blend of the Fusilier's Ration (Bengal Slices match) from 2015 with some of the Bengal Slices re-release that came out in about 2016. I'm not sure that I could really tell the difference between these, I miss the coins that these used to come in.
The smokey Latakia pairs well with the smokey air from all the fires here.

I smoked a good bowl from @rsherman24. TYVM Sherm!
The last of the sample of Seattle Pipe Club's Plum Pudding flake in my Baraccini pocket pipe as I review my shopping list and catch up on the forums with some Ethiopia Dry Process Benti Nenka coffee I roasted last night. The unroasted coffee smelled strongly of banana, the brewed coffee is much more subtle, but it may open up in the coming days. It's good.

Breaking in my new Chacom Lovat pipe with some Bright Star. The pipe was a blind second purchased at a significant discount on the www.kbven.com site, but I can't find anything wrong with it. Paired with 21st Amendment's Hell or High Watermelon.
