Looks like I inadvertently dry begged a birthday gift from Edward @silvermouse when I asked him about his slumped bottle ashtray. Very generous, Edward, you really didn't have to do this. I was thinking about making one of these from a bottle quite a while ago but never got around to it.
No excuse for the double-tap, Edward had to make sure that his punches landed with these stellar cigars. I'll save the close up inspection for later but the one on the right side looks very promising.

Got a nice buckeye land package from @MrShrek today. Very nice, can't wait to let them rest for a day (see my experiment) before I light one up!

Glad to see the post office didn't step on the shipping box, @Yakster. The feather is from one of the wild turkeys that have taken up residence in the yard. The cigar on the right is a RoMa CRAFT Series 2018: La Campana de Panama Soberana, best to have a full meal before lighting it up.

My weekly stop at the B&M....I swear I stopped by to get one or two...Then I eyed a box of 1502 XO Churchills on the 35% off wall. I tried one earlier this year and really liked it..... The owner said he's had them for 6+ years and that sealed the deal......
Also got the one or two I stopped for.......2018 Grimalkin Halloween, 2017 Viaje Thanksgiving Leftover White Meat and a LFD Double Ligero I've been wanting to try....

Hiland's Cigars had La Galera and the H. Upmann Hispaniola by José Mendez on close out for $60 for a while. Every time I tried to order it was always "no longer in stock". Super frustrating. Great prices and I wanted both. When they hit the monster recently I didn't hesitate. Paid about the same with coupon and sale. $70 for the pair OTD including tax and BS CA fee.

Great prices and I wanted both. When they hit the monster recently I didn't hesitate. Paid about the same with coupon and sale. $70 for the pair OTD including tax and BS CA fee.
