Loving Saad here in Columbus so far, he's been absolutely killing it on the PP and seems to have some good chemistry with his line. So thanks for him
Can't say I miss Amisimov but I hope he's doing alright for you guys. Good player as long as he stays healthy.
I do miss Dano though and his big physical play, could use him in our lineup right now. I guess Coach Q sent him down to your AHL team though? That's a shame, hopefully he gets called up soon, kid's got big potential.

Anisimov is fairly solid, and they are also using him to help groom Artemi Panarin. This kid looks like a young PAtrick Kane. Loads of potential. Haven't seen Dano yet, so I don;t know. I'll likely spy him when I go to some of the Icehogs games. LOL Still miss Saad...jgibv said:

Really like the way the Blues are looking. Much tougher and bigger on D. I'm loving the Brouwer-Oshie trade more and more each game to. Brouwer just seems to have more "hockey sense" than Oshie did. He provides more physicality but can score more points than a physical fourth liner.1

turned it on during the 1st intermission, saw the hawks were up 5-2, watched about half of the 2nd period then turned it off.
needless to say i was pretty damn surprised to check the score this morning and see the blues came back to win 6-5. damn.
can't say i'm surprised though......the hawks did have corey crawford in net
when he's on, he's on.
but if he's not on, he reminds me of this:

I have to admit I almost turned it off after the first. The Blues looked terrible, I thought I was watching pee wee hockey. I never thought Crawford was as good as most people/media made him out to be. I think a lot of his success was from the amazing defense in front of him.2

I agree. I always considered him middle of the road. This year, as the Hawks lost so many players, the D is definitely surreing so far, thus making Crawford more prone to giving up goals. He is not really good on glove side high shots. gotta have faith that Q will eventually find the right line combos to mitigate this and repeat. This every other year crap has got to stop.
