Thanks guys, so far so good. I'm not much good at "taking it easy", though, so Faye has been watching me like a hawk.

Take it from me, you'll make it through and you'll be OK. After they discovered my blockages they wouldn't let me go home, just shipped me in an ambulance to another hospital and the next morning they started on me. I remember that evening I was all excited and goofily happy. Then I woke up and reality set in, so I'm glad I didn't have time to sit and stew about it and get to worrying. It's a tough, tough recovery, but you get through it and you'll start feeling better every day. And you'll start finding joy and gratitude in new ways for new things. In a few months, it'll be behind you with only the memories and a 12" scar to tell you the memories aren't imaginations. And then you can start eating cheese again. :-)
Do what needs doing and keep us posted. My father no not cigars, had a quadruple bypass and a defibrillator put in his chest. 27 years later he is still ornery and kicking. You got this covered 👍

Could use a few prayers. I have been in AFib for a couple weeks now. Going in Wednesday to shock the heart, then into the hospital for 3 days to start a new medication. Hopefully things will be better. As I was going through the pre exam earlier the nurse said, hey you were here last year at this time for AFib, yep. In the past 3 years I have been shocked 15 times. 11 of those were unsuccessful, the 2 successful times was 2 Defibrillators synced together administering 2 full charges of 360 Jules each at the same time. They count this as 2 shocks even though they were at the same time. Dr. Said he was expecting to have to do it that way again. I would appreciate all the prayers I can get.
Prayers out for Paul. Have they talked about ablation? Much like a simple heart Cath, go home that day without A-fib or need for meds after the first couple weeks. Usually.

Please take a moment and pray for all the victims of the tornadoes overnight.
Prayers for all that were affected by the crazy weather we have had lately. 19 deaths so far in Mississippi from tornadoes last night.
