The freeways were littered with vehicular carcasses as the people fled on foot, dispersing like the souls of a mass cult suicide. All was silent, save just two cigar smoking doppelgangers of Rosie O'Donnell, bravely manning their positions in a futile and unacquainted hope of returning fire.
