I know he wasn't everyone's cup of tea but I think people will realize what a great songwriter and storyteller he was if one ignores the top few songs one thinks of when they think of Jimmy Buffett
I'd never heard of him. until the movie "Rancho Deluxe", they were the bar band. By the end of the week I had both his albums. There were only two then.

I have the soundtrack somewhere, I'll have to find it as I see it's not on Spotify. I am pretty sure I've seen the movie but I could be mistaken.
I found the full concert of Jimmy Buffett at Alpine Valley in 2019 and I'm watching it now. This was a great concert for us because we got our large group back together for the first time in years. Some of the people stopped going because kids and life getting in the way. It happens. Our group had dwindled down to three to five for a few years but we had about ten this year iirc. Alpine Valley tailgates were awesome as they open the gates at noon for an 8:00 concert and it could get kind of crazy.
So we got there and got our tailgate area set up and were just sitting around having some beverages and I saw some people nearby that I knew from social media. I have talked to these people over the years online and at other concerts so I went over to say hi. Hung out for a bit and went back to my group. They came by on their way to wander around and see the tailgating sights. They stopped to say hi to my friends and I and asked if we wanted to go with. I declined to stay and hang out with my friends. They had questions, much like you'd get when you talk about traveling to get together with friends from a cigar forum.
So later I see Jimmy with ALL painted on his arm during the show. You see, these guys were some of the group that paint the number of Buffett concerts they've been to on their arms as a badge of honor. I was wondering why in the hell Jimmy had ALL painted on his arm but I had a suspicion how it got there. The next day on his fb page it was confirmed. The group I had turned down an invitation to join had somehow ended up backstage to hang out with Jimmy Buffett.
Here's a cool picture of Alpine Valley. You can imagine the crazy shît one could see wandering around here with many of the 35,000 in attendance drinking all day
If I remember correctly the old Tangerine Bowl in Orlando, let you bring in coolers for concerts. So it was alcohol plus assorted party favors at those shows.

Sure, the 24 I would have painted on my arm would have paled in comparison but I really regret that decision.

Fascinating! Kyle Schwarber hit more leadoff homeruns this season than Tony Gwynn hit in his entire career!
Cool shot
Here's another sports one for you. Charlie
From last year and this year at the FCS National Championship game flyover by the 114th Fighter Wing out of South Dakota.
Damn Charlie, I thought I was the only one smoking that wacky weed.
As soon as they rotate, they are moving 🧐🤔😜
A good cigar and whiskey solve most problems.
A friend that works at the trailer manufacturer posted another video. Same style trailer I posted on the last page. 1.5 million pound payload. https://youtu.be/O7d-7GKBjzY?si=Z4qG29X6w8SOJvSS
If Shrek was in the Cars movie
I may have posted this already, I didn't feel like looking.
This an anti-racism joke? I still see 2 different colors, just throwing the bird at one of them
