You guys and your buying freezes... psssshh... you don't buy anything between purchases and call it a buying freeze... whatev's...
There's no way I'm the only one on this website who sets aside a specific amount of money per month to be spent on cigars. I can understand setting it and then not following it, but I still set it.
Well I bit on the Rosa's, something new from A.J., and they make it sound SO tasty, how can I resist that?

Yep, bit on them too. But looking to see what else I can find that I like. If I'm gonna get in trouble, might as well make it worth it. LOL!
So I had to smoke one of these fresh off the truck last night. Another winner from A.J. is my vote. Burned evenly, nice flavor and aroma, lasted about 2 1/4 hours. I like it.

Just an informational comment, normal actual retail on these is 272.00$.
Rats! Well, saved me a drive to Nashville, anyway.

All the reading you do and you've never noticed that the dollar sign goes before the numbers?
His inner Yoda this is.

not fridays fricken suck. the DCDs today definitely do not suck. check it out: 1)new murcielago by AJ at the wrong price. too low but too late to change at this point. 2)zulu zulu - an underrated everyday from George A Rico, one of the nicest guys in the business (and busting out some of the tastiest, unique tobaccos, too). medium-ish habano with a nice finish. tastes like costa rican tobacco to me but i think its a nica puro. 3)finally cafe con leche for dessert. don't pretend there's not a time and a place.
next up, fixing sprint sale... honest question and request for feedback - you guys ever use that site anymore? gonna add a bunch of good stuff. nah, gonna add a bunch of real good stuff. If traffic is low, prices should be
@timb Sprint sale, I look, but always seems to be the same stuff and I have a hard time jumping on anything. It's been some time since I have seen stuff that appealed to me.
Most the stuff I usually see on there are great for newer folks.
In Fumo Pax Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.
I occasionally check the sprint. I might have bought something from it. Once.
Someone at one point had a spreadsheet noting all the prices where it shut off for every product sold. I think the thing is that everyone wants "the deal" but isn't sure if they are getting it. For the data types or overanalyzers, we want to be sure about what we're getting, and the Sprint runs counter to that. It's a "gut" sort of purchasing plan.
I watched it a lot more when I was newer. Part of the problem is I now know pretty much what I like, and I know good prices for it, but sitting around all day to see if it pops up on the Sprint doesn't appeal much. Maybe if items were scheduled? The stuff I want to try, I might not know the same info, but a little heads up might let me do research on if I want to take a swing on a 5er on the Sprint.
Intelligence is knowing that a tomato is a fruit; wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.
I like Oliva and Quesada (including Regius) a lot. I will smoke anything, though.

Not cool. Not cool at all.

I used to have a pipe lighter with a built in tamper, but it went Tango Uniform.
Anyone have anything to say about this Sutliff lighter? Doesn't look like it would have much reserve tank with so much space given to the tools.
