Well. There is some sort of super storm covering a lot of the country. I am sure we will be hit in one way or another by part or all of it. The ground has just started drying out and the rescues have put up their May Wests. We haven't even taken care of the downed trees from the last 5 or 6 storms and here we go again. Water has been stored and plenty of EM lighting. A little low on candles. A Plano Tackle box filled with every battery we use. Solar lights ring the house. Just laid in 6 rounds of hay and a bunch of feed for the rest of the critters. 8 beers and plenty of red liquor. Backwoods is what I have and should be enough for 3 or 4 days. If we lose power we will be able to boil water and there is plenty of coffee.
I am starting to think the end is near but glad we are on elevated property. The libs will blame it on Trump.

We got through half of it last night. Big winds and intermittent downpours.
The 2nd half (looks worse on radar then the first) is on the way.

Dang Trump!  With all these windbags at all the trials going on up  the East Coast sucking up all the oxygen it's causing the wind to blow up to 50 MPH from Texas / Mexico border right across Tennessee!  How'm I s'posed to get anything done?  >:)
Don’t worry, I bet AOC has a plan to divide up the wind so that it’s a little more fair
  • jd50aejd50ae Posts: 7,900 ✭✭✭✭✭
Well the 2nd half evaporated. No if only AOC would do the same.

Mother Nature needs to put down the crack pipe. We got snow, a day of rain, and then a blizzard this week. Major flooding east and south of us. Prayers going out to everyone affected.

After the last three posts frost on the car is a small thing, and the sun is up.
  • jd50aejd50ae Posts: 7,900 ✭✭✭✭✭
Climate warming change has caused a freeze warning. Pretty good size.

65 yesterday and snowing today. It will be in the 20's tonight. Went down 1000 ft in elevation to Asheville last week and the pear and redbud trees were flowering.

Mother Nature is back on the crack pipe. We've had it extremely nice for a week or more now. Then I see this. We are in the 12+" range. Wtf.

Now the NWS is saying that  the temperatures may dip lower than originally expected, and we could get 28" of snow. Ok then.
Good time for a herf in FL or TX.
