    I just heard on the news that they're calling for temps and wind chills of minus 50 to 60 degrees, for you folks that live in the Chicago area. Stay safe.

    They just closed schools here for tomorrow and Wednesday because of the forecasted -60+ wind chills.

    -15º straight temp, feels like -40 with wind. Just to give you southerners an idea how cold that is, the first two blocks driving home for the evening are pretty rough. It's because the tires are frozen with a flat spot on them where they were in contact with the ground.

    I don't know. The weather maps have become totally unreliable. Showed us in the middle of a snowstorm two days ago, not a single flake. Showed I don't know what yesterday there were so many colors to figure out. I let Molly, our energizer pug, out this morning and he came back shivering, so I guess it is cold. But the sun is out....

    Went from so freaking cold to 61 in an hour.

    Hit a low around -20 straight temp last week but not as bad as some got. Then it got up to nearly 60 on Saturday and it's back down to sub-zero temps in the next couple days. Mother Nature is a crazy b.

    Two hours of cardio cleaning up snow from the last two fronts...in preparation for 6-8" more tomorrow into Tuesday. Spring is on the way, right? :D

    We used to have a plant in Vivian. Never got down there before it closed. Heard it was in the middle of a swamp and they had to watch the doors for gators coming in.
