Rain and winds have really whipped up, I don't think there'll be any flooding in my area but I worry about the winds and the possible power outages.
Chris whatever your weather is….it will be here by tonight. Good luck 🤙🏼
King tide today through Tuesday, coastal flooding warning, rain and heavy wet snow Tuesday followed by temps in the 20s. A true Nor'easter with high winds which will drive the tides even higher. Should be interesting.
Got about 1”-2” of snow between 1 and 3 this morning. Then it rained. Snow is gone but now there’s a thin coat of ice on everything. Around daylight it was extremely foggy. Now the sun is burning through the fog.
Predictions changed. Looks like we will be getting 6 to 11 inches of snow. Rain just started changing over now. Wife has been in preparation mode for two days. She has lectured me nearly constantly about shoveling, lol.
Snow started sometime late last night, ended around 10am. Ended up with about 8", wet and heavy. It was in the mid 40s and sunny today, so it is melting and compacting quickly, down to about 3-4" now.
I was smoking on the patio with some gusty winds, but when the rain started blowing onto my laptop I beat a hasty retreat into the garage to finish my cigar.

Don't bet on it, Dave. I have a hunch ol' man winter is not done with us just yet.
Yep, once the trees bloom out good, BAM! Deep freeze.

I'm glad I cleaned out the gutters last weekend.

A good cigar and whiskey solve most problems.

High winds and sporadic rain all day and the agent of chaos I married is loving every moment.

Power's still on here, wind blew down part of the fence but we'd already scheduled to replace that fence on Wednesday.
Now your homeowner's insurance may cover it! Or is it considered an "Act of GOD"?
Been snowing all morning, accumulation of 0". The damn dog would rather hold her **** than go out in this. True Arizona dog.

61 and sunny, I enjoyed the back yard, smoking a pipe and looking at my new 7' fence.

@cbuck hope you aren't driving back through this.
Going to be warm enough tonight that I won't need to wear my insulated coveralls. Sweet.

Supposed to get into the lower 80's today, we'll get another cold snap before Easter then it's off to the races.
Near record high temps most of this week. Guess this means we get no spring again this year, directly from freezing to hot summer temps.

All this rain has created a lake in Death Valley. Kayakers taking advantage.
