Tornadic weather in my neck of the woods expected tonight 🙄
Had to take shelter yesterday morning as well. Thankfully nothing happened here but poor Nebraska and Iowa got slammed. 🌪
We just had some storms come through the area. Apparently one or more tornados hit east of Columbia. Paul lives closer in town but he hasn’t replied to my text yet.

What happened to April showers bring may flowers? Why is it raining so much in may? And climate change is not a legitimate or scientific answer.
Actually it is a legitimate answer, just not in the way that politicians and media would like you to believe.
I'm in my late seventies . I have been aware that we have been fouling our nest since the industrial revolution. The natural world has been shrinking. I've seen it myself as the amphibians, birds, fish, are disappearing. The environment affects us all equally. Rich, poor, all religions, it doesn't matter. The fact is we will all live together or we will all die together. Humans are the dominate species because we can adapt to changes of our environment. Maybe we can solve this complex problem. But we have to work together.
Most native folks base their life decisions on how those decisions will affect the children seven generations from now. A lot of folks can only see how things affect them during their life span. How we view the future is the key.

Tell me it's nice in Rhinelander today without telling me the temperature.

Yikes. Stay safe. (And if you folks could use up all the wind before it hits the east coast, that would be great.)
Yup all good over here, some nastiness on the western half of the state though.
It was so hot today in Tennessee that I saw a woman walking down the street with a big freeze pop sticking out of her top.

A good cigar and whiskey solve most problems.
@TNBigfoot68 Paul texted me back and said they were ok.
Everything good out your way @d_blades ?
Missed me by a mile, powerlines are down.
Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.

First major wildfires of Canada's season hit northern U.S. air quality, and the smoke is expected to move south before long.
Oh no! More carbon in the air. Get ready for a new tax.

If the proposed solutions to climate change are all stupid, wasteful, and unhelpful, it doesn't make climate change itself fake.

first world problem, reminds me of the SNL Conehead skit catchphrase "consume vast quantities".
On a lighter note we got two and a half inches of rain last night.
