That's interesting... as far as it goes. Even if that map is 100% accurate, we'll still have every kind of winter weather possible; warmer days, colder days, dry days, snowy days. Maybe I'm just getting to that 'stay-off-my-lawn' stage of life. There'll be variances from average, colder/hotter/wetter/drier, but so what? Winter will turn into Spring and we'll all endure. As the line from one of my favorite movies says, "The dude abides."
Got out first substantial rain in a few months last night. Would have been better if it had come down a little slower. However the next two weeks are forecasted to be cooler, highs in the mid 70s, might be fall.
Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.
Left for a few days, end of summer drought on leaving, moist wet fall on return. The grass isn't crunchy anymore.

Rained all night and it wasn't Helene. Helene should be here tonight. The ground is already saturated so we may lose some trees with the wind forecasted. I took a pitchfork and cleared leaves clogging our ditches. The water in the ditches is six inches deep and running strong and the worst is yet to come.
When in danger or in doubt run in circles scream and shout.
Got the same thing here. We desperately needed rain but it always seems to be feast or famine. Been taking for three days and all I can do now it run off.

I don't know who sent it to him, but it sure looks messed up. Hoping all is well.

Same here. 2nd mug of coffee is kicking in and the fog is burning off.
Welcome to the -ber months.
Day 3 of rain, 6 1/2" so far.
58f and raining. Finally an actual rain and not just the nuisance rain we've gotten the past month.
Trapped in the People's Communist Republic of Massachusetts.
54 last night, fog this morning and 72 right now midday.
It was 44° when I woke up. I'll wait until the football game starts at noon to have my breakfast smoke.
Total for the three day storm that hit the outer Cape is 11 1/2 inches.
Good thing the Cape is all sand so no flooding.

Helene is coming up here. Supposed to be lots of inches of rain and 40-50 mph gusts. Getting ready.
And another winter forecast

Sounds like you have done what you can to prepare. Time to settle down with a good book and a cup of tea.
Tea, schmea.
Got the same thing here. We desperately needed rain but it always seems to be feast or famine. Been taking for three days and all I can do now it run off.
Well, how did Helene treat you folks in her path?
Supposed to get 3-5 inches of rain this afternoon.
