It's about this person who is claiming native heritage with 1/1024th native blood. Which would mean she is like 11th generation native. And that is extremely difficult to prove, since 11th generation would be a native ancestor from 1600-1700s and native records for blood was non-exist and then. Not saying it isn't possible, just that the likelihood of having comfirmed blood that low is pretty slim. Even my grandchildren have 100 times more native blood.

The DNA test also used modern south American DNA as the baseline for comparison. So in all reality, she's probably 1/1024 Argentinean or something
No tribe, at least that I know of, acknowledges dna test for heritage. And you are correct, most DNA test show a broad spectrum native America(s). Which could be anything from Canada to Peru.
